Our qualified Contractors will remove, unpack, and install an Air Conditioner up to 14,000 BTU’s in an existing window or wall sleeve. He will remove existing to a location on premises if needed, and install the new. Trash will be removed to a location you approve on the premises and the Contractor will perform a thorough clean up.
What you need to do prior to the Contractors arrival:
A responsible adult over the Age of 18 need be present to discuss and approve the installation. The Consumer authorizes such person to act on their behalf in the event that a change is needed, including signing and paying for needed changes. Such person must be present to sign off the job when it is complete.
Make sure that valuable, breakables, and wall hangings are moved from the installation area. Make sure the path to the area is clear of furniture and other obstacles.
What the Contractors will do as part of this Statement of Work:
Provide adequate protection to protect flooring, cabinets, and walls. Then move Air conditioner to location
Determine and document any necessary additional parts or labor needed to move and hook up your new Air Conditioner, including clearances as required by the manufacturer.
Disconnect the power and remove the existing unit and move to a location on the premises.
Install the new unit after verifying the proper clearances are present.
Connect to the existing electric circuit.
Packing and debris will be removed to an area you approve on the premises.
He will turn on and test appliance.
The Contractor will vacuum the installation area upon completion of the work.
Out of Scope Work:
The following additional On-Site Services are sometimes required, but not commonly enough to include them and charge you as part of the Statement of Work. If any of these additional services are determined to be needed, you will be given the opportunity to accept or decline prior to the additional services being sold and provided by the Contractor. The Contractor will call in your request for additional On-Site Services and payment for these additional services will be made by you over the phone.
Haul away of the old Air Conditioner.
Trim kits if a/c is not the same size.
Installations up or down flights of stairs, or on other than on the first floor.
No painting, staining, electrical, gas lines, plumbing, carpentry, countertop cuts, cabinet cuts, roof cuts, eave cuts, floor cuts, masonry work or drywall is included in this contract.
Permits for any of this work are not included and will only be provided at the Consumer’s expense.
Some accessories may require additional labor to install and may not be included in this fee. (After Market trim kits)
If electrical connectors are needed. Homeowner will be responsible.
The Contractor will provide written estimates for all work. No oral agreements will be honored.
After hours’ work
Other work not specifically contracted they may not be completed at the time of installation and a return trip may be required. Permits for any of this work are not included and will only be provided at the Consumer’s expense.
If electrical wiring is needed or the existing wiring is insufficient, the Homeowner will be responsible.
Closing/Concluding your On-Site Services:
When the Contractor has completed the On-Site Services, you will be asked to sign an On-Site Services Completion Form and to take a brief survey.
All On-Site Services contained herein are sold to you, and performed by the Contractors. You and the Contractor are the buyer and seller. This transaction is being facilitated through Velexo, a Software Enabled Services company, by both parties using the Velexo Solution. The retailer whom you are buying your products from also uses the Velexo Solution.
